The Big Move! Part II
In our latest video (click the banner to watch) we show the huge progress that’s been made since our announcement last month about our move to new premises.
There’s less than a week to go before AVSL Group relocates from Barton Dock Road, across Trafford Park, to Bridgewater Park. The preparations have represented a massive undertaking, and we're pleased to have maintained an uninterrupted service to our customers throughout; particularly during the extreme conditions swept in by Storm Emma and The Beast from The East!
The wind, rain and snow delayed the laying of concrete for the yard and loading bay areas by more than a week, but now the bad weather has subsided, the work is complete and ready for ‘day one’; Tuesday 3rd April 2018.

Major steps have been taken in setting up the warehouse buildings, with bulk stock of many lines now in position on the rows of reassembled racking; moved in phases from Barton Dock Road on a fleet of flatbed trucks.
The office, studio and reception areas have undergone a remarkable transformation, with ceilings and lighting now in place; carpets laid; electrics, heating and ventilation installed; and decoration complete. Web and telephone systems are being connected, following a transition that has seen minimal interruption to our services in the interim.

Staff are enthusiastic about the introduction of new lounge facilities, as well as outdoor tables and seating for al fresco dining during the summer months!
It’s great to see months of meticulous planning coming to fruition, but there’s still much to do in the coming week and Easter weekend…
